Compressed air and vacuum for food and beverage plants
Compressed Air for Food & Beverage
Food and beverage plants use compressed air across filling, packaging, conveying and general plant services. We supply oil-free reciprocating compressors at 2–9 BAR, screw compressors for plant air from 7–13 BAR, refrigerated dryers and dry vacuum pumps — all manufactured under ISO 9001:2015.
Under FSSAI food-safety practice, compressed air that contacts food, beverage, or primary packaging is treated as an ingredient, not just a utility — any oil carryover is a direct contamination risk, which is why oil-free compression is specified for filling, capping, and product-conveying lines rather than relying on downstream filtration alone. Indirect air — driving cylinders and actuators away from the product — has more latitude, but many plants standardise on oil-free throughout to remove the risk of a mixed-up hose or a filter failure ever reaching the product.
Packaging lines add a second demand: cappers, cartoners, and case packers need quick, repeatable pneumatic actuation, so pressure stability under rapid, cyclical draw matters as much as raw capacity. CIP (clean-in-place) and washdown areas are wet and often mildly caustic, so equipment and piping in those zones need corrosion-resistant fittings — a detail that's easy to overlook when specifying a compressor room from a general catalogue rather than for the specific hygiene zone it will serve.
Key Requirements
- ›Oil-free compression for indirect air
- ›Dry air for packaging lines
- ›Coalescing & carbon filtration available
- ›Reliable operation under cyclical draw
