PET bottle blowing demands clean, stable high-pressure air — typically 25–40 BAR for stretch-blow moulding. We supply booster and high-pressure compressors paired with refrigerated dryers to deliver dry, oil-free air that protects mould quality and bottle clarity.
Stretch-blow moulding works by using high-pressure air to force a heated PET preform outward against a mould wall in a fraction of a second — getting a consistent wall thickness and clarity requires that pressure spike to be repeatable, bottle after bottle, at pressures (typically 25-40 BAR) far beyond what a standard low-pressure compressor delivers. Undersized or unstable high-pressure supply shows up directly as bottle defects: thin spots, haze, or inconsistent base thickness that can fail a quality inspection line.
Because the compressed air is briefly in contact with the inside of a container destined for food or beverage, oil-free compression paired with a refrigerated dryer isn't optional — any oil aerosol or moisture carried into the mould cavity can taint the product or cause visible defects. Boosting air from a standard plant supply up to blow-moulding pressure is also energy-intensive, so right-sizing the booster to actual bottle output (not a generic catalogue figure) has a direct, measurable effect on the electricity cost per bottle produced.
